Integrity & Compliance
Our principles
In its over 70 years of existence, Porsche Holding Salzburg has built up an excellent reputation. Social responsibility and high ethical standards have made Porsche Holding what it is today: the largest and most successful European automotive distributor.
As a company with operations around the globe, compliance at Porsche Holding means that employees not only abide by current law but also adhere to a set of moral principles that go beyond merely observing the law. These principles have been set down in the company’s own Code of Conduct [PDF]. Naturally they apply to all levels of the Group and to all countries where Porsche Holding operates.
Strong values
Porsche Holding is committed to observing all laws and internal regulations and to acting as a responsible business partner and member of our society. This of course includes our steadfast commitment to correct principles and policies.
Porsche Holding has therefore identified four pairs of values that characterise our corporate culture: Entrepreneurship & Responsibility, Appreciation & Togetherness, Pragmatism & Professionalism and Integrity & Compliance. These values characterise the collaboration and conscientiousness exhibited within the company. You can find out more about our corporate values here:
Sustainability powered by people
Manuel Knapp | Porsche Holding Salzburg
What is compliance?
Compliance means observing all applicable laws, regulations and internal rules. Compliance defines the legal framework and aims at preventing infringements before they happen.
What is integrity?
Integrity means doing the right thing on the basis of one’s own personal conviction – acting responsibly for the company, for business partners and as a member of our society.
Binding standards
Integrity and compliance are not merely traits our company aspires to – we consider integrity and compliance to be essential components of our corporate culture.
That is why integrity and compliance have also been anchored in the “Governance” focus field of the Porsche Holding sustainability strategy since 2023. Our vision is to have strong and clear governance structures to drive forward environmental and social action.
This focus field is geared towards optimising sustainability issues across disciplines and making adherence to binding standards through integrity and compliance the core principle of our business activities and decision-making. The activities of numerous departments are linked even more closely as a result, and topics ranging from integrity and compliance to risk management, internal auditing, legal affairs, data protection and information security are brought together under the umbrella of sustainability. Further information can be found in the Sustainability Report, focus field 7 “Governance”.
