We want to enable sustainable mobility for everyone and thereby consolidate our economic success.
Our seven focus areas
Our sustainability strategy concentrates on seven focus fields in which we have identified the most leverage.
We enable carbon-neutral mobility for everyone: for our customers, for our employees and for the good of our planet. In order to significantly reduce CO2 emissions in our core business of mobility, we are working on the electrification of our own fleet and driving forward Volkswagen AG’s ambitious targets to achieve at least 50 percent electric vehicle share in our core markets.

With sustainable investments and innovative, customer-orientated financing products, we provide our customers with access to borderless mobility at the cutting edge. For example, we are increasing the share of green investments and financing (green asset ratio) to at least 30 per cent by 2030. We also promote sustainable financing (ESG-linked loans).

We reduce the environmental and social impact throughout the supply chain and focus on the consistent reduction and recycling of materials. We work transparently with suppliers who comply with our supply chain standards, and we ensure this by using an established CSR rating process.

We construct and operate sustainable, resource-efficient buildings that are as free of harmful emissions as possible. Our CO2 emissions from buildings will be reduced by 42 percent by 2030. Many different aspects contribute to this, such as energy efficiency measures, minimum standards and certifications for renovations as well as new buildings and the phase-out of oil and gas, for instance through a heat pump and photovoltaic strategy.

The greatest leverage within the company lies with our dealerships. We promote the sale of products and services with the lowest possible emissions. We also design all sales processes at our dealerships in a way that minimises emissions, such as through specific targets for saving energy, increased digitalization and detailed concepts for waste disposal and water consumption/recycling at our car wash stations.

Diversity & Inclusion
Embracing differences that make a difference
When you work with us, you'll discover the strengths of a diverse and inclusive environment in our collaboration. We are aware that there is still much to be done. Therefore, Porsche Holding views diversity and inclusion as both an ethical obligation and a strategic necessity for business success.
#1
Our diverse teams bring together varied perspectives, experiences, and ideas, enabling us to craft creative solutions and make better decisions. This inclusive mindset fuels innovation and ensures Porsche Holding remains at the forefront of the industry.
#2
We cultivate a culture where every individual feels respected, heard, and appreciated. This sense of belonging boosts motivation and satisfaction, positively impacting productivity.
#3
By championing diversity, we continue to attract and retain exceptional talent from all backgrounds. This is how we will continue to attract and retain the best specialists and leaders in the future.
#4
By fostering diversity together and creating an inclusive environment, we empower ourselves and contribute to a fairer society.
Women in Management
Equal opportunities and diversity are a matter of course for us. We ensure that our teams are diverse and aim to achieve the goal of increasing the proportion of women in management to at least 20% by 2030, as well as promoting women in all areas of our company. We are in an industry that tends to be male-dominated, so we already start by attracting female talent in our training programs, workshops, and trainee program. We then support their development within Porsche Holding. With "Female Link," we have created an international network that provides our female leaders with space for exchange and support.
I love driving initiatives forward with my team and supporting my employees in their roles as both a manager and mentor. My career at Porsche Holding began in 2014 in HR Development, followed by an exciting six-month assignment abroad with Porsche Chile. Upon returning to Austria, I continued as HR Business Partner for International Wholesale and later transitioned to Head of HR Organization & Transformation. Since 2023, I have been responsible for HR management at Porsche Holding in Austria and enjoy contributing my ideas to promote innovative approaches.
My highlight: Launching the trainee program at Porsche Holding. It’s incredibly rewarding to see some of our trainee graduates grow into managing directors.
My tip: Believe in yourself, focus on your strengths, and don’t let challenges hold you back.

I gained my first hands-on experience at Porsche Austria in 2006 alongside my studies. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to apply my expertise in various marketing management roles. Today, I lead the Digital & Direct Sales department, where my team and I work on projects like the sharetoo Autoabo and Porsche Bank's online and predictive sales initiatives.
My highlight: The people and the outstanding team spirit at Porsche Holding. Hard work is genuinely appreciated, and the strong culture of collaboration makes balancing family and career much easier.
My tip: Be courageous! Success takes extra effort, a passion for your work, and a strong professional and personal network - especially when balancing a family. But the effort is absolutely worth it for the best job in the world. Leadership isn’t magic; it’s a skill you can learn like any other. So take the leap, show up, and be bold!

I am inspired by the development opportunities and the collegial, down-to-earth corporate culture at Porsche Informatik. I started my journey at Porsche Informatik in 1999 as a Software Engineer and have steadily advanced - first as a group leader, then as team leader, department head, and, since 2022, head of department. What truly motivates me is guiding people on their development paths, fostering collaboration within and across teams, and working together to implement large-scale projects.
My highlights: Establishing the internal women’s network, women@POI, and helping to set up the new company site in Hagenberg. I was also proud to contribute to shaping the new Design of Digital Products course at FH Hagenberg University of Applied Sciences.
My tip: Believe in yourself and your strengths and have the confidence to try new things. Diversity always brings value, and your unique perspective will enrich and inspire your team.

Diligence and commitment have always been the cornerstones of my journey. I began my career as a trainee in personnel development, which laid a strong foundation for my growth. From there, I delved into the dynamic world of sales, taking on roles such as Assistant to the Executive Board (retail) and Head of Sales, Network, and Training for the Porsche brand (wholesale). Today, I am deeply connected to the day-to-day operations and our customers. After a brief maternity leave, I assumed the role of Managing Director at Porsche Linz Leonding over six years ago. This PIA retail location represents all Group brands, generating around 100 million in annual sales, supported by approximately 150 employees and a turnover of 2,200 new and used cars.
My highlight: Reflecting on my 20+ years in the industry, there have been countless milestones. I founded the Porsche Apprentice College, participated in the acquisition and establishment of our first locations in Italy and China, and witnessed the launch of numerous iconic Porsche models, to name just a few. However, nothing compares to the unforgettable moment of driving a Porsche 911 for the first time.
My tip: Failure is just another step on the road to success. When you fall, get up, straighten your crown, and keep moving forward. Remember: making a decision is always better than indecision. And above all, preparation is key.
